Palmer drama

Patsy Palmer quit the Celebrity Apprentice after a row with Ultimo lingerie boss Michelle Mone.

The EastEnders star, famed as loud Bianca Jackson, blew her top in a task on the Comic Relief special.

Hubby Richard Merkell had to talk her into returning to help team-mates Carol Vorderman, Fiona Phillips and Ruby Wax make and market a new children’s toy.

Ruby said: “The girls’ team was barbaric. The claws were out — big hissy fits.”

Patsy, 36, had more rows but BBC bosses cut out some to keep the show “light-hearted” for the charity drive.

A show source said: “There are moments when Fiona Phillips breaks down after rowing with Patsy. Carol also falls out with her.”

To add insult to injury, the girl’s team had a reunion at London’s posh Ivy restaurant after filming last month — but Patsy wasn’t there.

She is not the first celeb contestant to get their knickers in a twist in a row with an underwear magnate.

Property guru Kirstie Allsopp, 35, walked off the last charity Apprentice after a row with Knickerbox chief Jacqueline Gold. But she returned the next day.

The girls battle boys’ team of Jack Dee, Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross, Gok Wan and jeweller Gerald Ratner.

They both aim to avoid being “fired” by boss Sir Alan Sugar.

The show airs this Thursday and Friday.
