Charlie: No nerves over live show

EastEnders star Charlie Clements is confident he'll be able to handle the soap's live episode.

Despite the potential for things to go wrong, the actor, who will leave his role as Bradley Branning this year, is not feeling any nerves over the broadcast on February 19, which will celebrate the soap's 25th anniversary.

Asked if he was apprehensive about the episode, Charlie said: "Not at the moment - I've done some theatre before and it'll be like doing that really."

He went on: "You just have to be prepared and be on top of your lines and stuff."

Unlike Charlie, EastEnders star Lacey Turner (Stacey Slater) has previously expressed her fears over taking part in live TV.

"I'm not very good at doing things live. I'm awful in fact. I can't even do a speech, but hopefully it will go all right," she said last year.

During the live episode, viewers will discover who killed Archie Mitchell.
