Three new faces join E20 for third series

Award-winning EastEnders online spin-off E20 is returning in September for a third series with three new faces.

Ava (Sophie Colquhoun) and Donnie (Samuell Benta) escape on to Albert Square after their bus crashes outside Walford. The two runaways quickly bump into Faith (Modupe Adeye), who has been kicked out of her house by Grandma Grace after she returns home to find Faith bedding a Walford boy in her bedroom.

According to EastEnders, Ava, Donnie and Faith form an unlikely gang and search for a place to hide. Things turn from bad to worse when the law catches up with them.

E20 won the best online drama award at the prestigious Webby Awards earlier this year.

E20 producer Deborah Sathe said: "Following our international award success I am very excited to be filming our third series of E20. We have a brilliant new cast, some cracking storylines and our new E20 gang really give Walford a run for their money.”

Sophie has previously appeared in a number of film and TV productions including channel 4’s The IT Crowd. On filming E20, Sophie said: “Who ever thought working could be so much fun! It has been amazing experience.”

Samuell has appeared in a number of TV shows including The Bill, Silent Witness, The Cut and Hotel Babylon. He says: “I'm loving every minute of working on E20... It has been great filming on Albert Square! It's smaller in reality than on TV!”

This series sees EastEnders actors Charlie G Hawkins, Himesh Patel, Arinze Kene and Emer Kenny take pen to paper and write episodes for the show.
