What another waste of a talented actor. Are the producers on crack or summat? Derek's character could have done so much more for this soap but nope...kill him off and what do we have to look forward to? Max is married..whoopeedoo. More whining from Bianca..Joey and Lauren..more crap and that totally boring Kat/Alfie on-going nonsense.
I'm not watching anymore.

I like Bianca, she represents a lot of people in her situation, but she has character; humour, love for her kids, kind heart, many facets.
I also liked Derek, and I agree, if it wasn't the actor who wanted out of Eastenders, then killing him off was a bad move.
I looked forward to seeing him and EE was pretty flat and one dimensional when he wasn't on screen.

Agree - bad move by Eastenders to kill off Derek Branning (Jame Foreman) brought real tension and colour to other worn out and faded characters - a real waste of some excellent future storylines - back to predictable and boring . . .
